The Charlotte 49ers are taking a summer trip a couple miles down the road to take part in the exciting Uptown Charlotte community event - Alive After 5 at EpiCentre.

The Charlotte volleyball program will continue preparations for the 2009 fall season with their first spring matches this weekend at the College of Charleston spring tournament.

Following its fourth consecutive winning season, the Charlotte 49ers volleyball team is in final preparations for the season-opening tournament in Durham, N.C. this weekend.

Charlotte Volleyball is listed among teams honored nationwide for academic progress by the National Collegiate Athletic Association. The Academic Progress Rate, or APR, is a measurement utilized by the NCAA to track a team's progress of its athletes remaining eligible, retaining players and graduating.
